Don was fantastic and we would absolutely recommend you hire him for your wedding! He had excellent and prompt communication from booking to wedding day. He was really flexible with playlists and let us choose the songs we wanted to hear so the day felt like us. The sound was excellent during our outdoor ceremony and his set up allowed for flexibility with our venue that didn't have many power sources. He helped us stay on schedule througout the night which was also really helpful. He had people on the dance floor all night long which is exactly what you want from a DJ!

Don (DJ Shav) was amazing to work with! We had a remote wedding with no wifi, and Shav still managed to cover everything flawlessly. Our ceremony was on a remote mountain, and the processional and recessional music went off without a hitch. We also hit a bit of a curveball when a summer storm rolled in unexpectedly, but Shav quickly pivoted and moved his equipment indoors for cocktail hour to keep the music (and the party) going. Don also provided planning meetings ahead of time, which were incredibly helpful for making sure everyone was aligned before the big day. And his lighting setup was awesome and it completely transformed the dance floor and tied the whole space together. I highly, highly recommend booking DJ Shav for your wedding. He's talented, prepared, and unshakeable under pressure.

DJ Shav is straight-up the best in the biz! My wife and I worked with Don for our entire wedding at Everett Ranch in Salida, and we couldn't have asked for a better vendor. He is very responsive, very flexible and easy to work with, and planning with him is a breeze. We provided playlists of our favorite songs, and he integrated all of them perfectly--from the prelude all the way to the last dance after the reception. Even when we had hiccups and delays in our wedding schedule, Don was right there to step in and help get things moving in an organic way. When meeting vendors during the planning process, it's easy to know who has their heart fully integrated into what they do, and Don absolutely does.
