Hey, what's happening? I'm Don (aka "Shav"). I've always been an entertainer. Whether it's making people laugh or roll their eyes at a corny joke, or spinnin' the best mix of tracks, I get pumped when I see folks having a good time. I started in 1986 with two turntables, some tinny sounding speakers and a microphone at my buddy's 16th birthday party. Thirty plus years & a lot of cool technology later, I'm still packin' the dance floor with party people who raise the roof night after night! With a solid knowledge of music genres from Big Band to Country to Hip Hop and everything in between, I can promise your special event will be that much more memorable with Shav in the house!!
"We hired Shavano Soundz for our wedding in Salida, CO in July 2022. Don and Jay were awesome!! The planning process was easy, Don was super friendly and easy to communicate with, and the DJ services at the wedding itself were incredible. We loved the fact that Don has both a battery powered setup as well as his full lights & corded setup, which made it easy to transition from the ceremony site (outdoors, and away from outlets) to cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing! Our guests stayed on the dance floor all night, and Don & Jay did an awesome job taking from our preferred song list and also mixing in some crowd-pleasers to keep the party going. HUGE thank you and HIGHLY recommend"!
